From Press Release

There are only two places to guarantee a spot in the country’s top lacrosse recruiting events.

Showcase Lacrosse is excited to unveil its summer of 2016 Showcase Camp schedule. The second annual Boys Southern Showcase Camp, featuring boys in graduation years 2017-2020, is scheduled for June 13-15 at Mercer University. The incredibly popular Boys Philly Showcase Camp, also featuring boys in graduation years 2017-2020, is scheduled for June 27-29 at Saint Joseph’s University. Division I coaches coach every team at the camp. The Boys Philly Showcase Camp will be divided into two divisions with 2017s and 2018s being put together and 2019s and 2020s playing together.

Showcase Lacrosse camp

Hartford head coach Peter Lawrence and Mercer head coach Kyle Hannan serve as the Southern Showcase Camp co-directors, while Lawrence teams with Saint Joseph’s head coach Taylor Wray in the same roles in Philadelphia.

The 2018-2019 Fab 40 All-Stars at both events are offered automatic admission to the prestigious Boys Philly Showcase in November, while 2020 Fab 40 All-Stars at both events are guaranteed a spot in the Philly Freshman Showcase. Both events have developed a reputation as the crown jewel of the country’s November recruiting schedule.

Click here for our full coverage of Showcase camps from 2015

“The Showcase Camps are a great way for players to get exposure in front of college coaches, but they’re also a phenomenal educational opportunity,” Director of Showcase Lacrosse Brett Manney said. “We want kids to come in and be exposed to high-level coaching that will help them get better in the short time that they’re at camp. Both camps are at elite Division I facilities and allow kids the opportunity to live the life of a Division I player.”

Athletes at both camps go through college-style practices, workouts and film sessions. Campers experience a box lacrosse session. Last year, campers at both camps got to learn box lacrosse from Denver associate head coach Matt Brown, who helped the Pioneers win a national championship last spring. Next Level Video, NXTsports’ official video partner, films all games at both Showcase Camps in broadcast-quality high definition. Video packages are available for purchase.

Visit showcaselacrosse.com for more information on the 2016 Showcase Camps.
